A Wild WPT Week

There are a variety of high profile poker tournaments in what many are calling the most anticipated week of the World Poker Tour Season 16 schedule.  Faded Spade - the preferred playing cards of the WPT -  is right in the shuffle at every turn.

The week starts with the WPT Bobby Baldwin Classic at the Aria. It's the first time WPT has partnered with arguably the most renowned modern day poker room for poker's elite players. Our Founder & CEO, Tom Wheaton, jumped in the tournament thanks to 34 backers on YouStake. He had an impressive run in one of the toughest fields ever assembled, and made the money before busting out in 19th place on Day 3. The final table, at the new PokerGo Studio, is featuring Faded Spade playing cards during their live stream.

Next up are two celebrated poker tournaments - the WPT Bellagio $25,000 High Roller and WPT Tournament of Champions. Each final table will take place in the new state-of-the-art Esports Arena Las Vegas at Luxor Resort & Casino and feature Faded Spade cards.

The WPT Tournament of Champions, however, will be the first time Faded Spade poker room playing cards will be used for an entire tournament. Aria was impressed by Faded Spade cards, and chose to be the first poker room where Faded Spade playing cards officially hit the felt.

Faded Spade playing cards will also be used on May 27 and 28 during a special taping of a televised $100-$200 no-limit hold’em cash game and the ClubWPT Challenge the Champs tournament. To say it has been, and will be, a wild week with the WPT is an understatement.
